Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ReturnBeacon, a software service that analyzes ecommerce review exports and generates reports, insights, and recommendations intended to help sellers understand return and review risk.
Please review these Terms before using the service.
By accessing or using ReturnBeacon, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or service.
1. What ReturnBeacon does
ReturnBeacon is a web-based software service for ecommerce sellers and teams. It accepts customer-provided review exports and related inputs, analyzes them, and produces dashboards, reports, summaries, and recommendations. ReturnBeacon is intended for business intelligence and operational planning.
2. Eligibility and lawful use
You may use ReturnBeacon only if you can enter into a binding agreement and only for lawful business purposes. You are responsible for making sure your use of the service, including your upload and processing of files, complies with applicable law, platform rules, and your contractual obligations to third parties.
3. Accounts and access
Some features may require an account, purchase, or approved access. You are responsible for keeping login credentials, report links, and exported results secure. You must not share access in a way that bypasses plan limits or allows unauthorized third parties to use the service through your account.
4. Uploaded files and customer responsibility
You retain responsibility for the files, data, and content you upload or submit to ReturnBeacon. You represent that you have the right to use that material and to authorize its processing through the service. You must not upload unlawful content, malicious files, personal data you are not permitted to process, or files that infringe another party's rights.
5. Acceptable use restrictions
You may not use ReturnBeacon to break the law, interfere with the service, probe or bypass security controls, upload malware, scrape or copy the service in an unauthorized way, reverse engineer the product except where the law does not allow that restriction, or use the service to build a competing product based on non-public features or outputs.
6. Ownership and intellectual property
ReturnBeacon, including its website, software, branding, workflows, and underlying intellectual property, is owned by Pavel Banzhetu or licensed for use. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the applicable paid or permitted access period. Except for that limited right, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
7. Analytics outputs and no professional advice
Reports, scores, summaries, and recommendations generated by ReturnBeacon are informational tools only. They are based on customer-provided data and automated analysis, so they may be incomplete, contain errors, or miss context. They are not legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, accounting advice, or regulatory advice, and you remain responsible for your business decisions.
8. Billing, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds
ReturnBeacon may be offered through one-time purchases, subscriptions, or other commercial arrangements shown at checkout or on the pricing page. If you subscribe, your subscription may renew automatically unless you cancel before the next billing date. If you cancel, you will not be charged for a future renewal, but fees already paid are generally not prorated unless required by law or stated otherwise. Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy.
9. Service availability, updates, and discontinuation
We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of ReturnBeacon from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file format, or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance, release updates, or remove features where reasonably necessary for product, security, or operational reasons.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReturnBeacon is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pavel Banzhetu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of ReturnBeacon. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Pavel Banzhetu for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ReturnBeacon for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we may update the effective date and post the revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of ReturnBeacon after the revised Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
